What is the mission and long term goal of AidAppraiser?

Simply put, it’s to help as many people as possible. Now – that sounds cliché, but it’s the truth. I’m David Benatar, and I’m the creator of AidAppraiser. I’m also a 16-year-old full time student. Balancing the responsibilities of being a student and managing AidAppraiser is no easy task, yet it is one I embrace with passion and dedication. The mission with AidAppraiser extends beyond a surface goal of ‘helping people’. Our goal is to empower donors with the knowledge and tools to make informed, impactful decisions. By providing transparent, data-driven evaluations of charities, we ensure that every dollar is put to the best use possible.

In the long term, our goal is to fundamentally change the skepticism and uncertainty that many feel about charitable donations. The prevailing doubts—whether about the legitimacy of organizations of the actual impact of donations—are barriers we are determined to dismantle,
